Backflow Prevention

We install, repair, replace and certify 1¹/₂" to 6" Backflow Prevention Assemblies.

Backflow Prevention ensures that your drinking water is uncontaminated from outside sources.

Backflow Assemblies are required for all commercial properties and need to be tested once a year. Total Plumbing, Inc. has several certified Backflow Assembly Testers who are also able to perform any necessary repairs should your device not pass inspection. We send your reports into the appropriate water department and keep copies of your reports in our office should you or your water department ever need another copy.  We also send you a reminder letter a month before your next testing date so you can avoid any late fees from your water department.

Due to the rising costs of scrap metal, backflow preventers are at an increasingly high risk for theft.  These theives do not only steal the backflow valves but generally end up causing a large amount of damage in the process.  We reccommend buying a cage or lock that will protect your device and potentially save you a lot of money.
